Tuttle Courthouse Annex Renovation  

According to the Cummins representative, NBP accomplished one of the most complex generator designs ever in the Southeast.  The design incorporated several items, each on its own that would have made it a challenge, but all combined it was near impossible.  Design features include: 

• Generator provided with long distance remote radiator requiring two independent cooling loops
• Remote load bank with variable control keeps the genset operating at optimal power output regardless of actual building demand
• Large natural gas unit that supports life safety equipment requiring less than 10 second startup
• Engine located in the basement of the building with limited outside air intake
• Tie in capability added for future second generator in the same space
