Timothy W. Trotter P.E., LEED AP

CEO

After receiving his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1996, Tim joined NBP Engineers. He is a LEED Accredited Professional, a member of BICSI, and is a registered Professional Engineer in Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. Over the years, he has proven his talent and ability to meet the needs of clients and users. He has extensive experience in designing laboratories and educational facilities with design duties that include power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems including fire alarm, security, card access, telecommunications, and CATV.

Kevin M. Smith P.E., LEED AP

President and COO

After graduating from Mercer University in 1996 and serving four years active duty in the United States Army, Kevin joined NBP Engineers in 2001. He has continually proven he possesses a combination of technical proficiency and leadership excellence that allows him to manage a wide variety of tasks. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Georgia and South Carolina, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a Certified Technology Specialist. He maintains a focus on producing energy efficient buildings that are simple to use and easy to maintain.

Susan H. Day P.E.

Executive Vice President

Susan received her Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in 1988 and Master of Science Electrical Engineering in 1990 from Auburn University. She joined NBP in 1999 and heads the Dothan, Alabama office. Susan is a registered Professional Engineer in both Georgia and Alabama. She is a highly proficient project manager with a history of successful project completions.

Wilson H. Dent P.E., LEED AP      

Executive Vice President and Treasurer

After receiving his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Mercer University, Wilson joined NBP in 2002. Wilson became a registered Professional Engineer in 2006, an Associate of the firm in 2008, and a LEED Accredited Professional in 2009. Wilson has extensive experience serving as both Lead Plumbing and Fire Protection designer for education facilities, administrative buildings, laboratories, and religious facilities.

Dale R. Heiring P.E., LEED AP

Executive Vice President and secretary

Dale received his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Mercer University in 2001 and joined NBP in 2002. Dale became a Registered Professional Engineer in 2006, an Associate of the firm in 2008, and a LEED Accredited Professional in 2009. Dale is highly proficient in building HVAC load calculations, new system design and system renovations. He has extensive facility experience with educational facilities, recreational facilities, laboratories, and religious facilities.

 

W. Stephen Holloway P.E., LEED AP

Principal

After working as a Research and Development Engineer for YKK (USA) Inc., Stephen joined the Mechanical Department of NBP Engineers in 2006. Stephen continually grows as a designer and has committed himself to uphold the NBP standard of engineering excellence and providing the best possible service to our clients. Since joining NBP, he has served on design teams for college universities, medical facilities, laboratories, K-12 facilities, recreational facilities and technical colleges.
